PM Apologizes to those Who Did Not Get A Ticket for The Opening of the SEA Games

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, has apologized to the people who wished to watch the matches in the SEA Games, including the opening ceremony of the SEA Games, who did not get the tickets to attend in person because there is not enough space.

PM said in a special audio message on the night of May 2, 2023 that he understands that people really want to see in person in these events, but because the stadium is not large enough for Those who want to visit all, so the he apologizes.

"I beg you to understand this difficulty that the Royal Government can not afford and solve," he said. "Who get the tickets, they are happy, and who don't get it, they get unhappy, and this is not just happening in Cambodia."

At the same time, Prime Minister also said that the Phnom Penh Municipal Authority, as well as in some provinces, also organized live screenings at their locations to show the people at all these events.

It should be noted that Cambodia will host the opening ceremony of the SEA Games on May 5 at the Moradok Techo National Stadium.
